Having birthed three of my four children in the USA away from my main support system and my only follow up care being  at my 6 week check up, I knew then and there that there needed to be more emotional support after birth. And that is what planted a seed and passion for postpartum care.

 

Returning to my home country 10 years later with my children having gained some independence, I decided to follow my passion. Starting as a Wombs and Mamba Bamba certified birth doula for five years, I then went on to become a Postpartum Care Provider and Wombs Postpartum Doula.

 

I work with a wonderful group of woman at The Birth Hub, who provide Antenatal classes, birth services and myself heading up the postpartum care. I run a bi-weekly mom’s group that meet in my home to debrief and connect with moms who are going through all the same joys and challenges together. I also have a Facebook support group and page called Momsense. 

 

I am passionate about coming along side new families and giving them the confidence and support they can carry with them through there parenting journey.

 

I am based in Fish Hoek and work in the South Peninsula and Southern Suburbs.
